“Do you see advertisements, logos, or company flags along highways or soccer fields? Chances are they belong to one of our customers,” says Van Eijden. “We are the leading distributor for the sign industry in the Benelux. Our customers include advertising agencies and sign makers. We supply these customers with large-format printers and provide them with service and support. This consists of supplying print media, laminate, and foil. And if a printer malfunctions, we send our service technician to fix it.”
Not just a number
Nautasign used to work with another carrier. “They were too big for us. They were one of the largest in the world. We noticed this mainly in the fact that we were just a number to them. Since we started working with Parts Express, that has changed. We are now a partner. That is important to us. Our requirements are sometimes quite specific, because we operate in an unpredictable market: it has to be fast and perfect. Parts Express does everything it can to deliver a package.”
11-hour network
Nautasign uses just about all of Parts Express’s services: Same Day Express, Night Distribution, and Day Distribution in the Netherlands and Belgium. “And for the majority of our daily shipments—about 90 out of 150—we use the 11-hour network. That’s a service we developed together. Parts Express picks up the goods from us in the evening and delivers them to our customers before 11 a.m. the next day.”
